Brilliant read.......Teaches the lesson that everything is about perspective......the tumbler half full or half empty......History gets decided by the winner.......
My father is a voracious reader and I have never seen him without a book. Some of which has percolated down to us two brothers. (Ramit)
Unlike common public perception it is not easy to remain in public life unless you are well read. There are many leaders who are vociferous readers and thinkers some of whom I personally know.
Sometimes it does seem unfair seeing all the weird and outright abusive comments by the general public on Facebook especially on other people's walls.....
There comes the difficult topics of Cyber Freedom and Security which are different topics altogether. The fact of the matter is behind the comfort of ur home or your persoal space anyone can post anything on social media, spread fake news and get away with it. Sometimes even receive adulation. The recent observation being Malayalis making an abusive diarrhoea on US President-elect Donald Trumps Fb wall.
However, it is a Democracy. These leaders chose their career paths and should be ready to face whatever comes by.
Winston Churchill aptly summarised the situation by saying- "You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks"
Food for Thought.............
