Musings.......
Heard the Gandhi assassination will be reinvestigated. How unusual and how demeaning can this government be? Gandhiji, the father of our nation was assassinated by one RSS member Nathuram Godse period. He was arrested, given a fair trial and punished by the court of law.
Now a self-confessed devotee of VD Savarkar, Pankaj Phadnis is exploring judicial routes to prove that Gandhi was not killed by the three bullets fired by Godse, but by a fourth one from a second assassin.
Basically this person wants to prove wrong the prevailing notion that Gandhi killing was the work of RSS.
Another agenda by the Hindutva forces to twist and tweak history to favour their interests.
It is my belief that the citizens of India will join hands together against this propaganda and let truth prevail.
After all it is the Father of our nations assassination that is being played with. The champion of our freedom movement, Gandhiji deserves to be held in high regard.
There are too many issues that is to be taken care of and time spent for rather than propaganda.  The amount of man hours wasted with propaganda is time which we just don't have.
Issues like our unprecedented economic slowdown, poverty- India being ranked 100 in Poverty Index below countries like North Korea and Djibouti which many wouldn't find on a world map shows where we really stand.
All the high talk about Bullet trains and Sabka Vikas will remain talks unless something gets done. After all poor peasants of UP are still waiting for the 15 Lakh rupees to be deposited in their bank accounts, promised by our Prime Minister during election campaigning.
Today the National Congress won Gurudaspur Parliament by-election in Punjab with a huge margin of 1.93 Lakh votes giving a fitting reply to Modijis politics. Or is it the VVPAT that did it, I wonder.
With the after effects of Demonatisation and hasty introduction of GST causing exorbitant price rise, the government seems to be in a mess. A mess created by their own making, so much so that 2019 don't look like a cakewalk anymore, leave alone talks of 2021.
Food for thought......
